I was overwhelmed to see this on Beautiful for Thee today. I cried as I sat at my computer and read this. The dear lady that wrote these words sees me with her loving heart and not her opinions. My heart's desire is to be everything that she has written here. But, alas, I am only a sinner saved by the grace of God. Thank you for loving me this much. If you see anything good in me at all...it isn't me...it is only the Lord. "For in me dwelleth no good thing..."

I love you Mrs. Shaffer. One more # 56 - She loves me even though she knows all the good, bad and ugly about me. By the way she loves unconditionally every lady of the church also those who have ever been a part of the church.

As soon as I saw my daughter on the Beautiful For Thee site I knew that I must immediately connect to see what she was seeing. What a blessing! Yes, I can say Amen to all of the reasons too. I'd like to add a #57--her life reflects the Image of God to all who observe and then we can give praise to the One who should be praised!

What a testimony. Truly a Proverbs 31 lady. This brought me to shed a few tears.I can say that even though I have not spend a lot of time with Sister Shaffer, the times I have I can say, Amen, to all of these. You are an inspiration to me, what God can do when we just totally surrender to Him. Love you much.

After watching my mom for 28 years, I can heartily agree with every single one of these! My mom is a true and shining example of what the Lord can do in a life and I know it is because of her example I am saved today. I love you with all my heart Mom! Thank you.

Proverbs 3:27 Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
This was a good thing to do!

Mrs. Shaffer, thank you for striving to be all of these things. I know that you do not feel that you have arrived (none of us have) but you sure do try to live out each one of these points. You have taught me so much by just how you live your life and it means so much to me that you stay faithful to the Lord when others are not.

You are one of the rubies that the Lord talks about - a precious and rare gem that has allowed the Lord to use hard situations to mold you to be more like His Dear Son. We are all blessed to have had in our life in any way shape or form.

I believe that the Lord one day will say to you what He said to Paul - "Thou good and faithful servant."

I love you, Mrs. Shaffer. Thank you for never giving up even when at times it took everything in you plus all of God's Grace to keep going.

Watching and observing my little girl over the years, taking serious her love for the Lord, developing her own convictions according to God's word and seeing her love and desire to put the Lord first in all things in her life-she does strive to achieve all these things. She is the first to say, only by God's Grace, it is all about "HIM" - Thank you dear for being a joy and blessing, for being honest & real -I am a blessed Mom -I am thankful you are my daughter and Pastor's wife too.
